It started with a tree...

What started out as a few trees in a field is now so much more.

We sell everything, we think,  you need to go with your tree - whether that's a bauble, new lights or a water-bearing stand. We have an on-site florist making fresh wreaths throughout the Christmas season so you can buy one that's already on display or have one made just for you.

In addition, we sell firewood throughout the year. Over the Spring and Summer you can also stay in our Shepherd's Hut amongst the trees, or visit The Great Little Red Bus Tree Room.

Firewood

All our firewood is air dried as we believe that is better for the environment than kiln dried.

We supply soft or hardwood in small bags. Which is right for you will depend on what you are burning the wood in and how quickly you want it to burn. As a general rule softwood is easier to light but burns more quickly so you will use more. Some of our customers swear by one or the other and others tell us they can't really tell much difference!

Outside of the Christmas season, please feel free to come and get some of the smaller bags of wood or kindling whenever the gate in open. If you are coming a distance, please feel to give us a call first to check we are around.

We also offer 'builders' bags' of hard wood logs. They can be ordered in person, over the phone, on the website or via our facebook page. We offer delivery.

Please be aware there needs to be somewhere to put the delivery (so it doesn't block your car in the drive!), that we empty the bag on delivery, and we ask that you are in for the first delivery so we know we have the right house and the right spot!

Contact us for prices and to confirm we offer delivery to your area.

Our Shop

Whether you want one new bauble or a tree full, you can find it in our Shop. With over 1000 lines, we aim to offer traditional items and follow the latest trends with stock that changes every year. We also stock lights and stands.

As we open in October, during the month you will find Halloween decorations and pumpkins for sale.

From the end of November, we also sell fresh wreaths that are made on-site.

Our Shop is open from the first weekend in October (every weekend 10.00 am - 3.00 pm) and then 7 days a week from the 20th November until Christmas Eve. We do take credit cards.

Stay on the Farm

Now you can even stay on the farm - in our luxury Shepherd's hut.

Sleeping two, with a small kitchen and full en-suite facilities, it is a little bit of the country, but not too far from civilisation! There is a wood-fired hot tub and a barbeque, but also Wifi and a television if you get bored of watching the wildlife.

We share our farm with badgers, foxes, hedgehogs and bats, as well as many different sorts of birds so there is always something going on. If you want to venture out, Wilmslow boasts its own independent cinema, small theatre and lots of places to eat and drink.

We are adjacent to Lindow Common and Lindow Moss, a peatland area where restoration work is just starting, Quarry Bank Mill is within walking distance and both Manchester and Liverpool are not far away.

Eat or Drink with us

The Great Little Red Bus Tea Room lives on site at the Farm. It does what it says on the tin- it's a bus, it's a tea room and it's red, but it does so much more as well!

It specialises in Cheshire-based produce, but the team spent many years living in the Caribbean so you will also find that influence on the menu as well. It is fully licenced and offers bacon rolls, lunches, homemade cake alongside local beers, wine and the odd cocktail.

With inside and outside seating areas (much of which is covered) it is usually open from Thursday - Sunday each week between March and October. The hours vary throughout the season and there is the occasional private booking so it's worth checking their facebook page before making a special journey.

The bus also stocks our firewood and a range of

seasonal plants.
